Francis A. Marsella passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the age of 95. Francis was the loving son to Catherine and Olympio Marsella, and loving brother to Nick, John, Angelo and Adaline. He was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and a US Army Veteran, stationed in Japan and Korea. Francis worked as a baker at ACME markets and after retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching old movies, singing, and especially loved boxing, the holiday of Christmas, baseball and a nice can of Pepsi. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmella Marsella and the loving father of Denise Gabrielle and Francis Marsella Jr [Lillian]. Francis was the devoted grandfather of Adrienne Gabrielle, Stephanie Marsella Smith[Gregory], and Deana Marsella; great grandfather of Sydney, Ashley, Nickolas,Sienna, Devin, Andrew and Michael. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 02, 2022 at 10:30am at Stella Maris Catholic Church 2901 S. 10th Street, Philadelphia, PA. Family and friends may call 9:30am. Interment St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
